Farning, Anna (1866 - 28 Dec 1908)

Mrs. Anna Farning died at the Wasserburger Boarding House, of which she was proprietor, Dec. 28, 1908, aged forty-two years. Mrs. Farning, whose maiden name was Anna Tobin, was born in Monroe, Wis. She was married to Frank Farning about fourteen years ago. They lived on their farm in North Grant, Clark County till about eight years ago, when they moved to the city. Nearly seven years ago Mr. Farning was accidentally killed by the cars and she has since lived here, maintaining herself and two children, a boy about 11 and a girl aged 9, by keeping boarders. The funeral was held Wednesday at ten o’clock at the Catholic Church, Rev. A. Dorrenbach officiating.
