Jones, Blanche E. (22 Jan 1879 - 20 Feb 1905)

Mrs. Blanche E. Jones, wife of George Jones died Monday, Feb. 20, 1905 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler Foreman, in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), where she had been staying to receive medical attention. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Perkins Cross of the town of York, where she was born, Jan. 22, 1879, and lived to womanhood. Her death was due to an abscess on the brain. During her final illness, which lasted about three months she suffered much, but bore it patiently. She was a kind good woman, beloved by all. The funeral was held at the M.E. Church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Guy Campbell officiating. Deceased leaves, besides her husband and parents, a little boy about four years of age. The sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved.
