Lee, Gustie (Marriage - 19 Dec 1900)

Levi G. Morris and Miss Gustie Lee, of Granton, Clark County, were united in marriage Wednesday evening, Dec. 19, 1900, at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. N.E. Lee. The groom whose home is near Waukesha, is a creamery man and has for some time been employed in the Paulson creamery at Granton. He has made a good reputation for honesty and efficiency and has already many friends. The bride is one of Granton's best and prettiest young ladies. There was quite a large assemblage at the wedding, made up largely of relatives of the bride and a few other families of intimate friends. A number of beautiful and valuable presents were bestowed, on of which a heifer calf, a gift from the bride's father, was the cause of considerable merriment. The young couple started on a trip to Waukesha, Madison and other points. On their return they will reside near Mr. Lee's, Mr. Morris having decided to leave the creamery business and go to farming. They start out with the best of prospects before them, and the Rep. And Press joins with their many well-wishers in hopes for their continued happiness.
